  1. Technology has become the basis of the world in every aspect. Kids all ages use technology for fun or sometimes to simply learn their multiplications tables. Even-though technology has brought many great advancements and achievements to the world we live in today, I believe it has also had a negative impact in human intelligence. For example, graphing calculators, spell checks, and more have stopped some of the basic algebraic or spelling skills in students. Stepping into a more technological advanced classroom setting is in my opinion not the proper way to educate future generations. The lack of human interaction or basic skills such as speaking create a lack of personal growth in students. As of last year I remember students neglecting the new way to take standardized test online. I for example, would rather have a story in my hands highlight and mark on it instead of online. Computers are also proven to be harmful to human sight and what we need is a healthy and educated youth.

  2. Technology can be both beneficial and harmful to students' learning capacity. On a positive note, fresh and innovative classroom technology will allow students to develop skills at their own pace and allow instructors to customize lesson plans based on the unique abilities of each pupil. Technology can also assist in eradicating any embarrassment the student may have when asking a question aloud in front of their peers. On the other hand, technology cannot serve as a replacement for the more personalized approach, in direct communication among the student and teacher. In fact, it can be quite crippling when a student has to rely on a calculator without knowing how to solve it manually using critical and analytical skills; all essential in any functioning society. In my honest opinion, the bad outweighs the good; because the more technology advances within the classroom, the more foreign countries seem to surpass American students in scientific and mathematical achievement.

  3. In my opinion this new technology is going to be beneficial for both students and teachers. I think teachers would be more grateful for their jobs and are going be willing to help the students more efficiently. They will be able to customize lesson plans for each student individually to overcome his/her inability. Students, in the other hand, would also be able to focus his/her leaning ability in tasks that they have an issue with.I believe that the more fun the activity, the better children learn; and these children who are using the new technology are having really good results. Is a fact that technology is the future and why not start now with our youngest.

  4. In my opinion this situation is a double edge sword. While technology benefits us in education it also hinders us. For example, before a student would use their head to solve a math problem allowing for their minds to grow. Now all it takes is nothing more than a click of a button. The more technology consumes our education the more the population will lose their ability to rationalize and solve problems on their own. People will keep on becoming dependent on technology to the point that if we were to ever lose it all we would be doomed. Not to mention where will teachers be in 10 years from now ? If technology keeps on taking over our education system our very own teachers will be replaced by computers.

  5. Technology has brought great achievements like being able to communicate people from different sides of the world to finding your nearest Starbucks. Yet it’s downsides, like kids not being as active or private information being leaked online, have brought out doubts in some. As for technology in the classroom, tuning each lesson to each student’s skill level might just be what these kids need. From experience sometimes I was to shy to ask for help in the class, however this way a student might feel more comfortable asking questions via email or messenger. Teachers being able to spend more time with each individual student is the best outcome out of all this and very necessary, I feel students still need the one on one contact. I feel this new technology will open doors to bigger and better things for both the student and the teacher.

  6. technology is a very good tools for our world. it makes our world much eassier. even thought people said it replaces our job. but we the one who is going to make them work. this a very interesting idea that she uses computter in 3thr grades class because in the future everything that we are going to use its going to require that we have knowledge about computer in the fast and growing world that we live today i think every body in the world should have a knowledge about computers. we need tecnology to make the world a better place for our decendants. so we don't have to work anymore

  7. I believe technology is the answer to a better education today. It makes the education simpler and not difficult as it used to be. People all over the world use technology to make things faster and easy which I believe it can be beneficial and harmful to students. For example computer help students do their research faster as if they were using a book, which would take them more time than using a computer. On the other hand technology makes these students very lazy which is a very bad for them in the future. For instance when students have a problem to solve they don’t try doing it by step instead they prefer to use calculator to find the result. In fact technology is the best things that will open doors for us and the next generation.
