This piece is about to we show our wealth willingly or not. The author makes a very good point in the beginning of the article by saying $4000 titanium toothbrush is very unlikely to clean better or the same as a two dollar toothbrush. I I completely agree with the author is saying that just because it's more expensive doesn't mean the quality is not there. The author also makes a very good point related middle-class Americans to wealthy Americans; middle class Americans by lattes and espressos for the price of some countries hourly wages. But if brought up we will feel offended by such claims of us wasting money.
